Surgical Assistant
Katie, a surgical assistant, has a decade of experience under her belt. For the past four years, she has been an invaluable asset at Lisa Miller Oral Facial Surgery, dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients. Katie’s journey started after graduating from Fairhope High School and Faulkner College, where she earned certifications in DAANCE and BLS, and became a certified dental assistant. Katie prepares patients and operating rooms, assists in procedures, and manages both inventory and emergency protocols.
Her greatest joy comes from seeing patients smile and knowing she has positively impacted their experience. A significant milestone in her career was passing the anesthesia exam, demonstrating her commitment and hard work.
Outside of her professional life, Katie loves spending time with her children, visiting the dog park, traveling, and maintaining an active lifestyle. She is also deeply committed to volunteering with her church, particularly in supporting children in need during the holiday season.
At the practice, Katie enhances the patient experience by treating everyone like family, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. Her passion for caring for others was instilled in her by her mother, a once accomplished ER Nurse Manager and now Orthopaedic Trauma Coordinator, who inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare.

Karolina
Surgical Assistant
Meet Karolina, a dedicated surgical assistant with three years of experience at Lisa Miller Oral Facial Surgery. A graduate of Foley High School and Pensacola State with a focus in Dental Hygiene, Karolina holds several professional certifications, including DAANCE, BLS, and CRDH. In her role, she prepares patients and operating rooms, and assists during procedures to ensure smooth operations. What Karolina loves most about her job is the opportunity to interact with patients and provide them with a positive experience, making patient care her top priority.
One of her proudest achievements is passing her dental hygiene exam and obtaining her DAANCE certification. Outside of work, Karolina is an active volleyball coach, enjoys working out, and loves playing sports like tennis and volleyball. She is also committed to giving back through community service, volunteering at her church and local food banks. Karolina is passionate about ensuring patients feel calm and safe, motivated by her own childhood experiences to make a positive difference in healthcare.

Administrative Coordinator
As Administrative Coordinator at Lisa Miller Oral Facial Surgery, Aubree brings five years of experience to her role, with three of those years in her current position. Aubree is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, scheduling patients, processing payments, and reviewing treatment plan estimates with patients.
Aubree finds joy in being one of the first points of contact for patients and ensuring they have a positive experience from the start. She values the continuous growth and knowledge her job offers.
Outside of work, Aubree cherishes time with her family, especially her daughter, and loves spending summer weekends on the boat. She is committed to enhancing the patient experience and strives to make every visit a satisfying one. Her passion for healthcare stems from the sector’s growth potential and the opportunity to help others.
Victoria
Billing & Insurance Coordinator
Victoria, our Billing & Insurance Coordinator, has a total of 6 years experience in her role. Victoria expertly manages insurance verification, billing, treatment plans, and other aspects of patient care. She enjoys interacting with patients and working with insurance, finding these tasks engaging and educational. Victoria also finds satisfaction in creating and delivering gifts for referral offices, which are always well-received.
In her free time, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, boating, going to concerts, and traveling. She is passionate about communication and ensuring patients fully understand their care. Victoria’s commitment to good customer service is evident in every interaction, stemming from her early work experiences.
Victoria’s career in healthcare began in a hospital setting and was driven by her passion for helping others. Her dedication to prioritizing patient needs led her to transition into the dental field, where she continues to positively impact the patient experience.
